Paolo Grancino

Violin maker
(fl. 1640 – 1690)

Appears to have been a fictitious maker. The Hills were sceptical of his existence, saying in their Guarneri book that they had never seen or heard of an instrument with his original label. No archival record of him has so far been discovered.
