Victor Audinot
Violin maker
(1870 – 1943)
Son of Charles Audinot and pupil of Chardin and T. Barbé. Worked in Mirecourt before establishing himself in Paris in 1913. Made meticulous copies of classical instruments, including the 'Sunrise' Strad. Instruments signed internally: 'Vor Audinot-Mourot et fils / Luthier a Paris / armee'
Trained his six sons and various other pupils. Retired in 1936.
