Joseph Calot

Violin maker
(1793 – 1852)

Joseph Calot was born in Mirecourt and worked in several towns across France. From 1819, he was in Berne and, starting in 1832, he operated in the shop of Pressenda in Turin. He also made guitars. Calot, rue de la rose rouge / porte No. 3, 1er étage / Turin Réparé par Calot / à Berne, 1 mai 1820.
