Alfio Batelli studied under V. de Zorzi. He worked for Paoletti Vezio before starting his own business in via Tito Speri, Florence. In 1947, he emigrated to Chicago, where he was employed by Kagan & Gaines. Around 1950, he relocated to Weisshaar in Los Angeles and ultimately established himself in Monterey Park in 1963.
