Hendrick Aerninck
Violin maker

Hendrick Aerninck worked in Leiden, Netherlands until 1677, when he briefly moved to Amsterdam. He worked in Leiden from 1678 to 1703 before finally returning to Amsterdam. His fine workmanship was in the early Flemish style, featuring full arching and extended corners, along with painted or inked purfling. Two violins by him are in the Musical Instrument Museum, Brussels.
