Pierre Charles Jacquot

Son of Charles Jacquot and nephew of J.B. Vuillaume, Pierre Charles Jacquot was a leading French maker of the 19th century, receiving many prizes in international competitions as well as the Legion d'honneur in 1892. His fine work is based on Stradivari and Guarneri models.
He worked in Nancy and was later joined by his sons, Etienne and Jules, changing his business name to 'Ch. Jacquot et Fils'.
