Eugène Perrard apprenticed to L. Mougenot. He worked for Caressa & Français and L. Bernardel in Paris, as well as for Dykes in London. He established himself in Sannois (Seine-et-Oise) in 1928. His workmanship was very fine, featuring a personal model and excellent transparent golden-yellow or brilliant red varnish. He was a highly esteemed restorer and repairer, branded `E. P. '.
