(1843 – 1930)
Joseph Marie Chardon was the son, pupil, and successor of Georges Chanot. After his father's death, the business became known as Chanot & Chardon. He took over the shop in 1872 and was assisted by his son Georges. Around 1900, the shop relocated to 6 rue du Faubourg Poissonnière and later to 3 rue de l'Edinbourg.
