Active since 1937, he was a pupil of Edward Ikenburger. He established himself in Berkley in 1966, with assistance from his wife, Marion Fox Harrison. He created personal models in three grades of work, including the premium 'Medallion' with brown varnish, which was produced until 1968. Approximately 160 instruments were completed, often featuring imported pre-cut necks.
