F. E. Stanley was the grandson of Liberty Stanley and the twin brother of Freelan Oscar Stanley. He worked alongside his brother in Newton. The instruments were of the Stradivari model, featuring variable varnish; some were possibly sprayed, while others appeared as dull brown, and some had a decent red hue.
