Conrad Glaesel worked in Leipzig, Berlin, Brussels, and Chemnitz before returning to Brussels in 1937. He received gold medals at Brussels and Turin. His work featured Cremonese and Gagliano models with a fine red-brown varnish over a golden ground. He branded his instruments: 'Conrad-Glaesel Bruxelles anno 19.. '. A printed label read: Conrad Glaesel / (Brussler) / Chemnitz Anno 19..
