Nicolas Heinz

Nicolas Heinz studied under Frederick Konig from 1906 to 1911. He worked in Philadelphia for Julius Guetter and in various workshops in Chicago, including Lyon & Healy. He established himself independently in New York starting in 1926. He created 200 instruments using a personal model with brown oil varnish. He was also a repairer, dealer, and collector.
