Oscar Henry Gemünder was the youngest son of August Gemünder and took over the family firm, August Gemünder & Sons, in 1928 after the death of his brother, August Martin. His work focused on the 'Gemünder Art Model' as well as Cremonese and Maggini models, which were mostly labeled with his father's name and countersigned by him. Some instruments featured an antique finish, reflecting his dedication to craftsmanship and tradition August Martin Gemünder.
