Pietro Gallinotti

(1885 – 1979)
Pietro Gallinotti won medals at Geneva, Rome in 1931, and Bologna in 1936. He worked with Stradivari and Guarneri (1743 'Cannone' pattern) models, demonstrating very precise craftsmanship. After 1950, he concentrated on making guitars. His work featured an internal brand: 'P. Gallinotti'. There was also a manuscript label on the upper block.
