Charles Amedée Moinel
(1893 – 1915)
Charles Amedée Moinel was a bow maker and the son of François Xavier. He trained in Mirecourt with L. Bazin from 1908 to 1911. Afterward, he returned to Paris to work alongside his brother Émile. He became a casualty of the First World War. His work, which is rare, was in the style of Bazin. He branded his bows as MOINEL-CHERPITEL PARIS or MOINEL-CHERPITEL-PARIS.
