Giovanni Battista Gaibisso was a pupil of Pasquale Baraldi in Alassio. He established himself in Alassio, Genoa, after Baraldi's death in 1896. In 1912, he moved to South America, and in 1922, he relocated to Nice to work for F. Bovis. He returned to Alassio in 1925, from which time he produced his best work. His instruments were based on Stradivari, Guarneri, and Rocca models, and he was credited ...Read More with over 450 instruments of consistent high quality.
