Thomas L. Fawick
Violin maker

Thomas L. Fawick was an automotive engineer who became involved in violin making around 1948 in Cleveland. He owned the Stradivari `Wilhelml violin, which served as his model. Fawick established a factory line of instruments known as Fawick Corp., which employed workers from Hellier in France to carve and prepare the instruments. The parts were fabricated using American woods and then assembled and finished by assistants in Cleveland.
