A pupil of Carlo Biondi, Arturo Fracassi (1899–1973) made both violins and bows, working in Cesena until 1959 before relocating to Rimini — his own bench and tools have since become part of the documented record of that career. Galiano Milandri is recorded among those who studied under him, if only as an amateur.
