(1865 – 1945)

Pupil of Grandilli in Naples. Worked at Rome 1886, and Spezia where he won a gold medal 1906. Emigrated to Buenos Aires 1908. Gold medals and diplomas at Spezia, Geneva, San Francisco, Rio de Janeiro, Seville, and Padua. Returned to Rome 1936. Decorated by Mussolini. Wrote a book on violin making and his physico-chemical methods.
