François Joseph Delprato worked in Paris with Marchand, then in Chicago with Lyon & Healy, and in New York in 1918, before returning to Toulouse, France, in 1926, and finally to Houecourt, Vosges. He created copies of classical instruments that displayed very finely controlled workmanship. His work was branded: 'F. Delprato'.
