Georg (Gyorgy) Tanczer was a pupil of Nemessanyi. He established himself in Budapest in 1882 and in Debreczen in 1899, and he was later employed by the Stowasser Company in Budapest. His works included copies of Stradivari and Guarneri, featuring golden-orange amber varnish.
