Walter Solon Goss

Walter Solon Goss moved to Lynn to work for the Musicians' Supply Co. and Brown Music. He established himself independently there in 1896. From 1899, he worked for Elias Howe and then Oliver Ditson in Boston. He established himself independently in Boston in 1911. He won first prize at the Chicago competition in 1912. His classical models featured oil varnish, local materials, and finely carved scrolls. They were signed internally on the back.
