Thomas Jacques Holder established himself in Wardour Street in 1892, moved to Blackheath in 1898, and then to Leyland Road, Lee in 1912. He created clever and deceptive copies of various classical and minor Italian makers. He rarely used his own label and was a teacher to George Wulme-Hudson.
