Raymond Collenot was the elder son and pupil of Louis Collenot. He had a workshop in Paris on rue Labat starting in 1931. Known for copies of Stradivari and Cappa, he used an 'antique' varnish. His manuscript label read: Collenot fils aine / Luthier / Paris 19..
