Nicolas Morlot
(1780 – 1856)
Nicolas Morlot was a pupil of Nicolas Morlot aine. He created a large Stradivari model that featured flat arches and was finished with pale brown or yellow varnish. His work was not sophisticated. The name remained in use in Mirecourt until around 1900. It was branded internally: 'A la ville de Cremonae Nicolas Morlot. '.
