Martin Nebel graduated from the Mittenwald School in 1910. He worked for Johann Stiibiger in Vienna and for Eugen Gärtner in Stuttgart. In 1927, he emigrated to the USA to work for Wurlitzer in New York. From 1928, he established a business in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, with his brother Johannes. He was an expert restorer and maker.
