Karl Hofner
Violin maker
(1864 – 1955)
Karl Hofner was active from 1888 and removed to Bubenreuth after the Second World War around 1945. He established the business with his brothers Joseph and Walter. The company produced commercial violins in various grades, ranging from hand-made 'Master Violins' to machine-prepared 'Orchestra' and 'Concert' instruments.
