Joseph Nicolas LeClerc worked in the `Quinze-Vingt' Hospital. One violin, dated 1770 and characterized as mediocre with yellow varnish, was part of the Snoeck collection and is now housed in the Berlin Museum of Music. Another violin, cited by Vannes, was of better quality and dated 1765.
