Joseph Gaudé

Bow maker
(1818 – c. after 1881)

Joseph Gaudé trained in the Adam style but may have worked for Pajeot around 1835. He established himself independently in 1839, though he appeared to have declined and vanished from the Mirecourt records after 1881. His bows featured round sticks and Pajeot-style faced underslides on frogs. The brand was GAUDÉ-J.
