Joseph C. Tarr
(d. 1926)
Joseph C. Tarr was the son and pupil of William Tarr. He emigrated to the USA in 1900 and established himself in New York and Huntington from 1912. He exhibited at the Trades Convention in St. Louis in 1914. His work was based on the Stradivari model and was characterized by rather coarse craftsmanship with poor materials, although it featured decent red-brown varnish.
