George Theodore Stott

George Theodore Stott worked as an amateur for several years before establishing a professional business in Copperas Hill, Liverpool, around 1910. After this building was destroyed by bombing during the Second World War, he relocated to 69 Renshaw Street. His instruments featured a Stradivari model with pale gold brown oil varnish, sometimes exhibiting a more emphatic red coloring. He completed over 40 violins, violas, and cellos.
