Remo Solferino
(1882 – after 1953)
Remo Solferino was a pupil of E. Soffritti. He was active in Mantua until 1940. In 1953, he moved to Verona, where he almost immediately ceased work. He completed about 50 instruments, which were imitations of classical models with a good golden-yellow varnish. His manuscript labels read: Remo Solferino / fece in Mantua / l'anno 19..
