James Cole
Violin maker
(fl. 1845 – 1892)
James Cole was a pupil of Tarr and was associated with Craske. His work varied greatly in quality, although his cellos were generally more successful. After 1858, his work was internally branded as 'J. Cole. ' He was based at Raby Street in Moss Side, Manchester, and produced work in Manchester in 1857.
