(c. 1880 – 1900)
Elisio Secchi was born in Italy and established at 19 boulevard Beaumarchais, Paris. He worked with Couesnon. A cittern dated 1891 is held by the St Petersburg Conservatoire. Vannes mentions a small pattern violin typical of French craftsmanship featuring golden orange oil varnish. Henley noted guitars of various sizes. His fine work was in the commercial French style, characterized by very accurate craftsmanship on the Stradivari model, with ebony purfling and thin clear orange-red varnish.
