Carl Gottlob Schuster
(c. 1830 – 1860)
Carl Gottlob Schuster created a large Stradivari model with medium arching and golden-brown varnish. One example is located in the Bach Museum in Eisenach. He founded the company that, under the leadership of Raymond and Ulrich Schuster, became Schuster Gebrüder. Henley provided dates a century earlier and included a label from 1741.
