Joseph Charotte-Millot was a pupil of Aldric. His work was very characterful, resembling a vaguely Guarnerian model with open 'c' bouts and small outwardly pointing corners. The lower holes of the T were strongly oval in a lateral direction. He used a shaded red varnish on a yellow ground.
