Hippolyte Camille Lamy was a bow maker. He was the son, pupil, and successor of Joseph Alfred ('Lamy père'). Called up for National Service during the First World War, he returned to assist his father and ultimately succeeded him in 1919. His work, which was generally very similar to that of his father, deteriorated from around 1930 due to failing eyesight.
