Max Schaffner

Max Schaffner was a violin and bow maker. He was a pupil of C. Dreier. He established himself independently in Markneukirchen in 1896 and moved to Hamburg in 1906. He created fine violins based on classical models and bows following French patterns, which were branded: SCHAFFNER.
