Josef Vojtech Ruzicka
(1878 – 1937)
Josef Vojtech Ruzicka studied in Prague. He worked in Opava. His workmanship was neat. He used Stradivari and Guarneri models, as well as a personal pattern featuring recurved upper bouts and a scroll with a truncated final turn. The arching was slightly high, and the edges were thick. He applied a golden-brown varnish.
