Malcolm F. Richmond
(b. 1875)
Malcolm F. Richmond was a pupil of Smillie and created fine classical models inspired by Cremonese designs, exhibiting a style very much like Mirecourt, possibly utilizing imported parts. His works featured a dark red spirit varnish and cellos were crafted on a large Stradivari pattern. He was based in Camelon, Falkirk, and his work dated to 1923.
