Mirecourt maker, taught by Cuniot-Hury and Emile Ouchard. He worked for Emile Auguste Ouchard, then, after a brief period of independence, for the Thibouville-Lamy firm from 1943 to 1969. After this he was employed by Roger Gerome in Mirecourt.He worked in the style of Ouchard. Few of his bows bear his own brand.
