George Darby

George Darby was a violin and bow maker. He created models based on Stradivari, Guarneri, Amati, and Gagliano. His work featured orange-red varnish and generally utilized fine materials and good craftsmanship; contemporary commentators noted it was comparable to French work. He operated in Cremona House, Bristol, in the year 1902.
