Gennaro Vinaccia was a senior member of this family of mandolin and violin makers. He established his business in Naples on rua Catalana at the sign 'Cremona. ' He was the father of Antonio, Giovanni, and Vincenzo. His fine violins and cellos were crafted in the Gagliano style, featuring dark golden-yellow or brown varnish of good texture.
