Lucien André Ragot established himself independently in Céret, Pyrénées-Orientales. He was a pupil of L. Mougenot, Jacquet, Gand, and R. Jacquemin. He received the first prize as the best craftsman in France in 1930, a silver medal at Brussels in 1931, and a diploma at The Hague in 1949.
