Edwin Pollard

(1845 – after 1924)

Edwin Pollard was active in Blackpool from 1862. He generally used the Stradivari model, although he made 12 violins on Stainer forms between 1910 and 1912. His workmanship was good, and he utilized his own golden-brown amber varnish. He also made cellos. He created this in 1924.
