François Alexandre Maline
Bow maker

François Alexandre Maline was a bow maker. He was the son and pupil of Jean Joseph Maline. He worked alongside his elder brother Nicolas. After Nicolas' death, he briefly assisted his cousin Nicolas Auguste Eugene but established himself independently in 1901. In 1906, he joined his son Pierre at Cuniot-Hury, and they then set up independently from 1911. Later, he became associated with Feret-Marcotte. His entire output appeared to have been supplied to other dealers and companies, and his own brand remained unknown.
