Carl Friedrich Pfretzschner II



(1845 – after 1914)

Carl Friedrich Pfretzschner worked for Bausch in Leipzig in 1863. He established himself in Markneukirchen from 1871 to 1886. His models were derived from Amati and Stradivari. He produced good professional work using fine materials, often featuring one-piece backs. His varnish was golden-yellow.
