Solar Fernando Gonzalez was a maker of guitars, violins, and bows. He established his workshop at 3 Calle del Rollo and was appointed luthier to the Royal Palace, where he was responsible for its Stradivari quartet of decorated instruments and guitars. His family became one of the most celebrated guitar-making families in Spain.
