Son and student of Carlo Carletti, Natale Carletti took over his father's workshop in Pieve di Cento with his younger brother Nullo in 1941. The workmanship is precise but not affected, with deeply carved scrolls and full archings. Varnish is of a mixed composition, ranging from red to golden yellow, and labels are often signed.
