Edward Ferdinand Panormo was the son of Joseph Panormo and was active with his father in London from at least 1832 at 4 Compton Street. In 1839, he established himself as a guitar and violin maker at 37 Frith Street. He frequently moved within London and eventually relocated to Brighton, where he worked as a violin and guitar teacher.
